Cartvale Care Home - 5 In neighbouring region Lanarkshire, four care homes recorded more than 20 Covid deaths. Rutherglen Care Home was revealed to have the highest figure, accounting for 29 deaths in total. Across Scotland, almost 3400 care home residents died from the virus. An inquiry to examine the Scottish Government s handling of the pandemic is expected to go underway before the end of the year.
