The center will then be open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday for the remainder of May. It will be closed on Memorial Day on May 31. Demand for vaccine has dropped off significantly since the center’s early weeks, when it was giving about 3,000 first doses per day.

Puff ‘N Stuff, an alternative boutique with a location in downtown Lancaster, has opened a new store in the Shops at Rockvale. Puff ‘N Stuff takes a spot right along Route 30, between Kirklands and Qdoba, at 35 S. Willowdale Drive.

THE ISSUE The Lancaster County Community Vaccination Center may close earlier than its previously announced closing date, LNP | LancasterOnline’s Carter Walker reported last week, though there doesn’t seem to be any clarity on when exactly it will close. “When plans for the community vaccination center at Park City Center were being finalized in February, Dr. Michael Ripchinski, the chief clinical officer for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, said the plan was to run the facility through the end of June,” Walker reported. LG Health spokesman John Lines said the Lancaster County Community Vaccination Center “is expected to continue operations at least through the beginning of June.” No decision, Lines said, had been “made on a closure date prior to June 30.”
