Agricultural trade between Russia and Vietnam has increased strongly
The volume of Russian-Vietnamese agricultural trade has increased by more than 2.5 times over the past five years. The free trade agreement between the EAEU and Vietnam, which has been effective since October 2016, has contributed to such active growth.
Sergey Levin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, and Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, have chaired the meeting of the Russian-Vietnamese Working Group on Agriculture. The topics discussed at the event were the further development of mutual trade, veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance, and investment cooperation in the agricultural sector.

for the 2021-2030 period.

“ambitious”. They cost a significant amount of capital resources but did not
generate successful results.

needs to evaluate the quality of its human and infrastructure resources and get
initiatives that contribute to
joint cooperation efforts to manage and use the Mekong River’s water resources sustainably, equitably and properly.
In reply to reporters questions at the ministry’s regular press conference regarding a
tool to monitor dams on the Mekong River, Hang said Vietnam will study and cooperate in an appropriate manner to make effective contributions to the sustainable development of the river s basin./. VNA

Remake of Vietnamese classical opera play enthralls audience

A remake of the renowned Vietnamese classical opera play ‘Son Hau’ has been performed in a public space of an old terraced building in Van Chuong alley in downtown Hanoi. The play has enthralled both senior residents and youngsters as it is a cool combination of the traditional art form and contemporary art.
No fancy stage is set up. Actors perform an excerpt in the renowned Vietnamese classical opera play ‘Son Hau’ in the middle of a public playground. Here, the mossy wall becomes the backdrop while slide and stairs make a perfect setting for the play.
