As the pandemic continues to keep most Filipinos at home, many have been doing what they can to make the most out of being quarantined and life in the new normal.
For most company employees, that means working on deliverables, attending client meetings, and pitching in ideas during team discussions remotely. This work-from-home (WFH) set-up is likely to stay, at least according to a survey among 161 CEOs by the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) and PwC Philippines. About 73 percent of the respondents see their organization implementing WFH policy even post-pandemic.
For students, school life goes on and online. Though without on-campus experience, many have been learning through Zoom classes and connecting with teachers and peers online, hence many try to find ways to look for stable and reliable connections, which for most isn’t readily available for them.
