St. Elizabeth, Centenary, Drew and Fairleigh Dickinson universities are opting for “modified in-person graduations with limited guest capacity and other COVID-related restrictions. County College of Morris will take it a step further, essentially handing out diplomas by appointment. After last year s, albeit very successful and well-received, virtual commencement, we wanted to give students the opportunity to once again walk across the stage, said St. Elizabeth spokesperson Denise Panyik-Dale.

Princeton joins growing list of colleges requiring COVID vaccine for students

Princeton University students can’t come on campus next fall unless they have proof they’ve received the COVID-19 vaccine, school officials announced Tuesday.
The Ivy League school joins a growing list of universities including Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson in New Jersey that will require the vaccine for students as they prepare for the 2021-2022 school year.
Princeton’s requirement applies to its nearly 7,800 students, including undergraduates, graduate students and international students. But, some exceptions will be made.
“Medical and religious exemptions from the vaccination requirement will be granted in accordance with the university’s reasonable accommodation policies and legal requirements,” Princeton said in its announcement.

MADISON, N.J. â Shytail Clay, of Fayetteville, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson Universityâs Florham Campus in Madison, New Jersey, has been named to the honors list for the Fall 2020 semester.
To qualify for the honors list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

Michael Culleton of Chatham was named to the Fall 2020 Presidential Honor List at New York Institute of Technology. To qualify for the Presidential Honor List, a student must achieve a minimum semester GPA of 3.7 and complete at least 12 credit hours without any incomplete grades.
Andrew Mitzak of Chatham was named to the dean s list for the 2020 fall semester at the University of Iowa. Mitzak is a student in the Iowa s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in Pre-Medicine.
