FLORENCE â The Shoals Archaeological Stewardship Virtual Speaker Series features a different presentation each month from March - October. Â
The May 7 presentation will be a panel discussion on what to do if you find an artifact while out on public land. Panel members include archaeologists from TVA and the State of Alabama, the Florence Mound Museum, and Tribal representatives. The discussion can be viewed at the following link on Friday, May 7 at noon: tva.com/thousandeyes.
The Florence Indian Mound Museum, in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority, is sponsoring the series to raise awareness about looting in the Shoals area. Â
