BoomTown Duluth can t wait to open their doors next month, off Rice Lake and Martin Roads. We are so anxious, we ve been waiting for over a year to get this restaurant open, owner Jessica Lietz told us on Monday.
But they still need some kitchen staff, to make sure they can feed you once you re in the door. Mainly line cooks, is what we re looking for, she said. They ve had a couple of hiring fairs recently, and seen some applications come in over the weekend. We re willing to do very competitive wages to get the right people on board. We offer health insurance, and 401K benefits.

DULUTH, Minn. – As the spring semester begins at colleges, businesses are glad to see students back in the area. The owner of Duluth Vanilla Bean says he couldn’t be happier to see the students as they make up 60 to 70% of his customers.
“It’s always good to have that energy from our college students,” said Jason Vincent, the owner of Vanilla Bean. “And when they return, you can totally tell in the restaurant because they just bring a really good vibe to the restaurant and they’re a huge part of our business.”
