Area law enforcement agencies are joining efforts to continue enforcing safe driving in Lubbock.
Continuing Wednesday, the Lubbock Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety will partner their enforcement actions to focus on speeding violations and the failure to move over or slow down when a stationary emergency vehicle, tow truck or TxDOT vehicle have lights activated on roadways.
The areas of focus will be on major thoroughfares, including the Marsha Sharp Freeway, Interstate 27 and Loop 289.
If there is a stationary authorized emergency vehicle, a tow truck, or TxDOT vehicle with their lights activated, or a different visual sign, Texas law states that a driver must either:

Frenship ISD will be offering free meals for all children 18 years old and younger for Summer 2021.
In a Frenship ISD news release, they said that the district would be teaming up with Aramark, a food service, facilities and uniform services provider.
Starting on Tuesday, June 1st, families will be able to pick up food bags once a week for every one of their children. All children are welcome to obtain the food bags, and they don t even have to be a Frenship ISD student. These bags will contain breakfast and lunch that should last 7 days.

DHAKA: The Bangladesh government has so far rolled out 23 bailout packages announced at different times since March 2020 to absorb the economic shock from the raging COVID-19 pandemic.

Hasina approved two new schemes worth Tk 2,700 crore aimed at improving the living conditions of rural marginalised people, according to a Finance Ministry statement.
