A man who was thrown out of a four-wheel drive after a vehicle rollover at Bribie Island has died.
Police believe the driver lost control of the Toyota Hilux at Ocean Beach, Woorim, about 4.30pm on Sunday.
Police were investigating.
He died at the scene.
The driver, also 18, from Beachmere was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with dashcam or further information about the incident is urged to contact police.
