Filipino star midlaner Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop took charge with his Storm Spirit in the deciding game as Evil Geniuses beat 4 Zoomers, 2-1, to open its campaign in the upper division of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC)-North America Regional League on Wednesday (PH time).
With an early Orchid Malevolence pickup and a 24-minute Bloodstone, Abed’s Storm Spirit easily zapped 4 Zoomers’ heroes to power EG’s dominant 26-7 victory in the decisive Game 3 that lasted for only 30 minutes.
The 20-year-old midlaner, who was the first player to reach 10k MMR and eventually 11k MMR in Dota history, racked up 12 kills and nine assists against a lone death as he dealt the most hero damage from his team at 19.7k.

TNC Predator snapped its championship drought as it ruled the Beyond The Summit (BTS) Pro Series Season 4 Southeast Asia after outlasting Team Dog, 3-2, in the nail-biting grand finals late Sunday night.
The Filipino powerhouse team overhauled a 1-2 series deficit then banked on its 11k MMR stars Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte and Armel “Armel” Tabios in Game 5 to claim the crown in the eight-team regional tournament and bag the $21,000 (P1,009,644) winner’s prize.
Following a series of dismal results and the release of Korean captain Park “March” Tae-won, TNC finally snared its first title since winning the ESL One Thailand 2020 last September.
