The A48 Pyle Road in Bridgend has reopened in both directions after an accident and oil spillage from Heol-Y-Splot to the A4229.
A major road in South Wales has reopened in both directions this morning after a crash.
Roads and traffic monitoring service Inrix reports that the A48 Pyle Road, which runs between the large village of Pyle and Bridgend, has reopened in both directions after the accident and oil spillage was cleared.
Inrix says that the road, which runs almost parallel to the M4, closed as a result of a collision and oil spillage from its junction with Heol-Y-Splot, near the former Royal Air Force station Stormy Down, to the A4229 (Pyle Roundabout).

A KENDAL war veteran was able to celebrate his 100th birthday in style thanks to staff at the retirement complex in which he lives. Jack Turner was greeted by a surprise round of applause as he returned to Wainwright Court from a visit to his daughter on Monday.
