Jamie Kah cracks the ton in metro Melbourne Posted by: RS NewsWire+ at 2:02pm on 10/7/2021
At her second ride at Caulfield, Jamie Kah finally got the winner she needed to score her 100th Melbourne winner for the season.
Jamie Kah has scaled the heights in Melbourne that no jockey has previously been able to do, breaking through the 100-win mark in the metropolitan area.
The win on Deep Speed in the Neds Fliter Form Handicap (1100m) at Caulfield on Saturday gave Kah the milestone victory that had been building over recent months.
Michelle Payne’s win in the Melbourne Cup was an important victory for female jockeys, but Kah reaching the “ton” is an important milestone for all jockeys.

OPEN LETTER TO CONFUSED PRIESTS: Viganò on Obedience, Resistance, Francis and Vaccines
Scripture urges us to be obedient, moderating our obedience with patience and a spirit of penance, but it does not exhort us absolutely to obey orders that are intrinsically evil simply because the one who issues the orders to us holds authority.
Reverend and Dear Priest of Christ,
I have received your letter, in which you ask me several grave questions about the crisis of authority in the Church, a crisis which has been intensifying in recent years, and in particular during the “pandemic emergency”, in which the glory of God and the salvation of souls have been set aside for the sake of a supposed concern for bodily health. If I intend to make this articulated response to you public, it is because it responds to the large numbers of faithful and priests who are writing to me from all over the world, expressing their questions and torments of conscience over these same serious questions.
