Nissan celebrates 10 years of Leaf with special-edition model
The Leaf10 celebrates 10 years of the electric hatchback being on sale
Nissan has introduced a special version of the Leaf to celebrate 10 years of the electric vehicle being on sale.
Called the Leaf10 and available in UK dealerships this month, the special-edition model brings a new exterior colour as well as a variety of distinctive exterior detailing. Prices start from £28,820 inclusive of the government’s plug-in car grant.
A special ‘Kumiko’ pattern has been applied to the wing mirrors, roofline and boot lid, while a new name badge has been fitted to the car’s C-pillar. Buyers are able to opt between two exterior colours, with the first being standard black metallic and the second as new two-tone ceramic grey and pearl black shade. As standard, the Leaf10 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The LEAF10 is available in UK dealerships from February, with a new bold body colour, intuitive in-car Wi-Fi, new connected services including the award-winning ProPILOT, new Intelligent Rear View Mirror, and e-Pedal technologies.

The new Nissan Leaf10 will go on sale in Europe starting this February, offering a unique specification with a new exterior color and model-specific detailing, together with more kit as standard.
The new special edition of the Nissan Leaf will be available in limited numbers but the carmaker didn’t specify how many.
The most distinguishing feature of the new Nissan Leaf10 is perhaps the pattern detailing that adorns the wing mirrors, roofline, and boot lid. The intricate Kumico-inspired pattern also includes the model’s name on the C-pillar and is combined with a brand-new two-tone Ceramic Grey and Pearl Black color option. Customers can also choose the standard Pearl Black Metallic. In addition, all N-Connecta models ride on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, to make the Nissan Leaf look “more dynamic”.

When it comes to rugged body-on-frame, V8 powered SUVs, the Nissan Armada is still fighting the good fight. For 2021, the big three-row crossover has been given an update to bring it into modernity. It starts with a bump in power in power for the 5.6-liter Endurance V8 to 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, enabling Nissan to claim best-in-class standard power outputs against competitor models like the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon. The extra muscle also comes with increased towing capacity, and now the Armada can pull up to 8,500 pounds, yet another best-in-class standard figure. Along with its enhanced capabilities, the 2021 Nissan Armada comes with a rugged looking facelift, including the newly redesigned Nissan badge, and a slew of extra standard technology features like an all-new largest-in-class 12.3-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, in-vehicle Wi-Fi, and a comprehensive suite of safety technology.
