Minneapolis Police say they’re pursuing strong leads in connection with a north Minneapolis shooting that’s left two people, including a 3-year-old boy, in the hospital.

He was recruiting residents to join the patrols Monday afternoon at the corner of N. Lowry and N. Logan avenues.
The effort comes as police search for those responsible for fatally shooting a 6-year-old girl and wounding two other children. Two men were killed in north Minneapolis over the weekend.
