The Biden-Harris Administration announced on Jan. 25 the appointment of Filipino-American Jason Benjamin Alinea Tengco as White House Liaison for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
Tengco has served as the Chief of Staff for the Biden-Harris campaign’s Coalitions Department and then was the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Outreach Lead on the transition team.
Over the past decade, Tnegco has worked for a presidential campaign, the White House, Obama Administration, Congress, and numerous non-profit and campus organizations.

Andrew Zwicker, a member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 16th Legislative District, has named Petra Gaskins his chief of staff, effective Jan. 11.

A major report by the Wall Street Journal finds typical families at dozens of schools are borrowing almost $100,000 to finance student education, data from the U.S. Education Department show. The data “provides a more complete financial picture of how recent graduates have paid for their postsecondary education, especially if their parents took on debt to help them cover some or all of the costs.
