Share 6,000 scholarships offered to Grade 12 students in Battambang Wed, 4 August 2021 Minister of Interior Sar Kheng, through the Battambang youth development working group, will offer 6,000 two-month remote learning scholarships to grade 12 students in the province. The course will run from September to late October. Representative to the Battambang youth development working group Sok Veasna told The Post on August 4 that the course will be online. Students will be taught by teachers from the New Generation School and can interact with instructors and students, take assignments and exams, and check results on mobile apps. “To graduate, students take a joint exam like the national 12 examination and results are returned to students. Students can study English through an e-library that contains many documents and books as well as self-study material on video from the education ministry and New Generation School,” he said.

Share MoEYS outlines digital education for the future via New Generation Schools Wed, 5 May 2021 With digital education implemented via various platforms, this article focuses on digital education in New Generation Schools, as governed by the Policy and Strategy on Information and Communication Technology in Education and the Policy on New Generation Schools. The qualities needed by school directors, principals and teachers at New Generation Schools are also explained. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) in 2018 established the “Policy and Strategy on Information and Communication Technology in Education” with two main goals. The first is to adopt new management and administrative processes to modernise practices and increase the efficiency, transparency and effectiveness of education sector governance and performance monitoring.
