Representations on the proposal are currently being sought, but if the plan is approved the 30mph limit will be introduced on the length of High Ongar Road, in the parishes of High Ongar/Ongar. The new limit would be introduced from its western junction with the Chelmsford Road (A414), northwards, eastwards and southwards for the entire length to its eastern junction with the Chelmsford Road, including all side roads.
