It was great to see Matt Light again, while hunting with two young men who would soon become new friends.

Malcolm Mitchell: Route Adjustment - Georgia Magazine

Malcolm Mitchell: Route Adjustment Under bright lights on an otherwise dark stage at the Classic Center, Malcolm Mitchell AB ’15 revealed what had become inevitable, if also unthinkable. Before thousands in the audience at the 2019 TEDxUGA speaker showcase, the stand-out Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver and New England Patriots Super Bowl champion laid out the long list of injuries he suffered in the sport that has defined him. “My knees have finally had enough,” he said. “Football is over.” He was 25 and retiring from a career he had trained for his whole life. Onstage, he paused, fighting his body’s urge to break down and weep in front of everyone. But he gathered himself and declared his resolve to move on.

FBI searching for stolen Patriots Super Bowl rings

FBI searching for stolen Patriots Super Bowl rings FacebookTwitterEmail It’s the case of the stolen Super Bowl rings. The FBI is looking for three New England Patriots Super Bowl rings commemorating the franchise’s heydays. The three rings are all New England Patriots rings, from 2001, 2003 and 2004. All three were inscribed with the name “Gill,” though the FBI did not say who the rings belong to or how they were stolen. On Friday, the FBI tweeted, asking the public’s help in recovering the stolen rings, as NBC’s Boston affiliate reported. “#SuperBowlLV has a nice ring to it, but art crime isn’t music to our ears,” the FBI said on Twitter. “Help the FBI find three stolen New England Patriots Super Bowl rings.”
