The project, which is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland is funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust initially for a six-month period.
The design of the project has been supported by employing a co-design and co-production lived experience model alongside a stakeholder analysis approach.
The WELL-Bean Café will operate over evenings and weekends, for people who are experiencing mental or emotional distress.
Service hours will operate on a Friday evening from 6:00pm – 11:00pm, Saturday afternoon from 12:00pm – 7:00pm, Sunday afternoon from 12:00pm – 7:00pm and Monday evening from 6:00pm – 11:00pm.
Initially, due to the current restrictions, the project will be delivered remotely, commencing on Friday 2 April 2021.

Operated by Stobart Air, the three-times-weekly flights to Cornwall Airport Newquay will commence from 28 June 2021 and conveniently connect passengers with Cornwall and the south of England.
Ellie McGimpsey, Aviation Development Manager at Belfast City Airport, says, “As a staycation favourite, Newquay has always been a popular destination served from Belfast City Airport and we are delighted that Aer Lingus Regional is going to re-establish this service since it was left vacant by Flybe.
“The quick flight times and direct connectivity makes it the ideal choice for a getaway closer to home and we are confident the route will be popular with holidaymakers, families, and anyone who wants to retreat to the beach this summer.”

This COVID-19 Response Strategy is a living document and has been updated to reflect the rapidly changing environment since the start of the pandemic.
It gives a detailed overview of activity undertaken across the Department and the wider Health and Social Care system.
Health Minister Robin Swann welcomed the publication, saying, “The policy and planning work undertaken in response to COVID-19 has been immense and it is good to see it documented and summarised in this form.
