New Delhi [India], April 21 (ANI): Linde India, a prominent medical oxygen supplier, has commenced the supply of oxygen and Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital received 45 cylinders at 6 pm on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted that the Central government has increased the national capital s quota of oxygen.
Earlier in the day, the hospital in a statement, quoting Linde India s representative, said the oxygen supplier was not being allowed by the Haryana government to send oxygen cylinders and liquid oxygen to Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital, Pusa Road.

According to an official, Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital at Pusa Road had five hours of oxygen left around 4:30 pm. There are 58 COVID patients, including 10 in ICU, in the hospital.

Work on 35 kilometre stretch to be completed by year end: govt.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday chaired a review meeting with PWD Minister Satyendar Jain and the department’s officials on the status of redesigning and streetscaping of seven road stretches and 540 kilometres of identified roads in the city along the lines of European cities.
According to the government, work has started on the 35 kilometres identified in different localities and will be fully completed by the end of this year.

The ride-sharing player will provide free Rapido Auto rides to and from Covid- 19 vaccination centres for Delhi NCR citizens. It is offering a 100 per cent discount on rides up to ₹50 to all citizens in the region.
“The initiative is aimed at providing a safe and accessible commute option to senior citizens eligible for vaccination across Delhi NCR,” it said.
The announcement comes as the third phase of the vaccination drive begins today that includes people above the age of 45 years.
