The Alamo City is admittedly spoiled by the number of local spots who have taken advantage of alcohol to-go being passed into law. While many restaurants have pulled out all the stops, mostly on the margarita front, one growing chain is making sure San Antonians have other options.
Locally based SipIt Daiquiris To-Go will celebrate the grand opening of its second San Antonio location this month. The new drive-thru drink spot is already up and running at 11310 Culebra Road, Suite 110, but the chain, which already has plans for a third location, is inviting locals to get boozy and party on for the opening of the Culebra outpost on Saturday, June 26.

LIVE OAK, Texas – The San Antonio area is getting a sixth Burger Boy location, this one will be in Live Oak.
It’s the third Burger Boy restaurant expected to open in the next year, according to restaurant spokesperson Ramil Rodriguez.
Fans of the burger chain will be able to order the famous burgers at the Bitters Road and Highway 281 location in the coming weeks. Rodriguez didn’t give an official open date but said the building is in its final stages of construction and expected to open soon.

If you are over watching new movie releases at home, there will soon be more options in San Antonio to help you ditch the couch.
Regal said Thursday that it is opening five of its movie theaters in San Antonio on Friday. The theater chain shut down in March last year in response to the pandemic and is hoping to lure customers back this weekend with big hits like Mortal Kombat and Godzilla vs. Kong.
