Four new businesses make Sunny Bank Mill complex in Farsley their home

FOUR new businesses are opening at the award-winning Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley as the national lockdown eases. The firms are the Amity Brew Co, Beckett and Beckett Interiors, Farsley Fire and Smoke and Anahata Yoga. The mill complex, where Yorkshire Television’s Emmerdale and Heartbeat were filmed, has been transformed in recent years. John Gaunt, joint managing director of the company which owns Sunny Bank Mills, said: “These are very exciting new lettings for us – and we are absolutely delighted at the range of businesses who are now joining us at Sunny Bank Mills. They broaden our appeal and provide wonderful new facilities for everyone who works at the mill and who lives in Farsley.”

The popular event will be held from June 3-13, with curbside, carryout and limited indoor and outdoor seating options, according to a press release. Specially priced menus include a $13 option for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner, plus a family meal option at select restaurants.  Participants include: Benihana, Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, Café at the Pfister, The Capital Grille, Flannery’s, The Knick, The Loaded Slate, Mader’s German Restaurant, Mason Street Grill, Oak Barrel Public House, Onesto, Proof Pizza, Rodizio Grill, Smoke Shack, SportClub, Third Coast Provisions, Third Street Tavern, Uncle Buck’s, Vagabond, Ward’s House of Prime and Who’s on Third.

When Holland Lawrence and Marc Fogelsong launched Wild Barley in 2019, it was a pizza operation. They only made bagels on Sundays, something to fill out the menu because they already had the sourdough process in place for pizza. But the bagels took off.
