Accel-KKR acquires majority stake in New Zealand’s Unimarket

Technology-focused private equity firm Accel-KKR has agreed to acquire a majority stake in New Zealand’s Unimarket, a provider of procurement software and services, for an undisclosed amount.
Unimarket, founded in 2005 in Auckland, provides cloud-based procurement software and services for use in a number of sectors, including higher education, healthcare, government, research, and financial services.
Its three flagship procurement solutions include Marketplace, an integrated catalogue-driven marketplace; eProcurement, a solution that allows clients to easily find and buy products and services; and eProcurement+, a solution for managing the entire procurement process.
