JMI Equity names managing general partner

Peter Arrowsmith was promoted to a managing general partner at JMI Equity, taking on day-to-day management of the firm alongside founder and Managing General Partner
Harry Gruner, said a spokesman in an email.
Mr. Arrowsmith is taking over some of the duties of
Paul Barber, former managing general partner who is now chairman. Mr. Barber will continue to serve as a director on the boards of JMI portfolio companies and be actively involved with the firm and investment activities, the spokesman said. Peter has been a trusted partner to me and the rest of the leadership team for 24 years and is the natural next leader for JMI, Mr. Barber said in a news release.
