Three wildfires of note burning in Prince George fire centre, update on 3 previous wildfires of note
The Cutoff Creek fire (G41269) was discovered July 2 and is located approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Vanderhoof.
This fire is currently burning at approximately 6,064 hectares and was caused by lightning.
The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako issued an evacuation alert on July 5 at 2 pm.
The alert covers approximately 60 km south along Kenney Dam Road to Knewstubb Lake and 6 km west of Kluskus Forest Service Road along the Natalkuz 500 Road to Knewstubb Lake.

There are currently 53 firefighters, two helicopters and 11 pieces of heavy equipment fighting this fire.
