The Shanklin-based musician is building on the success of his previous track, This Blood is Yours. Released in October to coincide with Halloween, the accompanying music video was funded through a successful kickstarter campaign. With an initial goal of £100, his kickstarter raised more than three times that sum, covering the cost of merchandise for pledgers, video props, promotion, distribution and mastering. Lewis Shepperd, This Blood is Yours merchandise bundle. Those who pledged to the campaign also had their names immortalised at the end of the music video. The single was reviewed by Reyt Good Magazine (RGM), who described it as a catchy and unusual track that brings both power and minimalism in it s writing and musicianship .
Martin Wardley has debuted single Make This Count with an accompanying video online. The track focuses on how people think about and utilise time and Mr Wardley hopes to convey a sense of optimism with the song. A prolific writer, Mr Wardley has previously released two albums, ‘Into The Abyss’ and ‘Pedestrian Odyssey’, along with co-writing for and with other artists such as Wayne Gidden, Tom Read and Hati. His previous single, Resurrecting The Show’ was produced by Ben Matravers and mastered by Pete Maher, who has worked with the Rolling Stones and on Peaky Blinders.

One of Orkney’s most popular rock bands has released their much-anticipated second album, today, Saturday.
Born out of the first-ever Orkney Rock Festival back in 2014, five-piece band Electric Mother have developed a dedicated following, both at home and further afield. Known for their high-energy performances, memories of their floor-thumping, head-banging, t-shirt-waving gigs are likely still fresh in the minds of fans despite the lack of live music entertainment this past year.
