Beabadoobee returns with her new single “Last Day on Earth”, her first new music since the release of her debut album Fake It Flowers at the end of last year.
“Last Day on Earth” was written at the very start of the pandemic and imagines what she’d have done had we known what was ahead of us, unfolding as a night of fun in the song’s video which was directed by Arnaud Bresson of Division Paris (M.I.A, Rosalia, ASAP Rocky).
“Last Day on Earth” is the first track to be taken from beabadoobee’s forthcoming new EP, Our Ex-tended Play, written and produced with Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. The pair spent an early lockdown with Bea and her band in the Oxfordshire countryside, collaborating from the ground up on a diverse collection of new songs.

Album of The Month: Beabadoobee’s Fake It Flowers

Each month we are bringing you the
106.1 The Corner Album Of The Month, a record that we’re passionate about and think that you should be, too. This month we’re featuring
Fake It Flowers, the debut album from Beabadoobee.
If you’ve ever wondered what a teenage girl writes in her diary, listen to Fake It Flowers by Beabadoobee. The songs written in her bedroom about escapades when she was high with her friends, falling head over heels in love, and a traumatic past, are what make this debut record so vulnerable, honest, and full of grit.
