ND, Bikes Are Back! Time To Share The Road.
With no snow, motorcycles have been back on the street for quite some time. I bet there s plenty of riders that Hardley missed a day. But it s time to put motorcycles back at the top of our minds. Not all bikes are big roaring beasts, some are whisper-quiet and ridiculously fast. Some may be a little slower but still really silent.

So, it s time for drivers to get our heads on a swivel, and as they say- look one way, look the other way, than look back again. Four tire drivers have to be hyper-aware but so do y all on two wheels (trikes too).
My listeners and I had a chance to chat both on air and on social media about the WORST intersections in Bismarck Mandan. There was a heated debate on which streets belonged in the top 10. However, as far as the worst intersection in all of Bismarck Mandan it really wasn t much of contest. Everybody seemed to agree upon this little slice of hell. More on that in a minute.
So here goes, the worst intersections in all of Bismarck Mandan!
#10 Calgary & State Street. Just about any intersection is dangerous along State Street due to the heavy traffic.
#9 1806 & Old Red Trail in Mandan. Another dangerous spot and one of two Mandan intersections to make the top 10.
Roller Skate Rentals Becoming Reality In Bismarck.
Growing up in Minot, one of the first true places for preteens to teens to mingle was a place called The Skatium. Jerry and Dee Fuchs opened The Skatium in 1977 and it stayed open all the way to 2006. It was always a place where young folks of all skill sets could get together and awkwardly practice our social skills.
I understand Bismarck had a similar roller skating rink called Wheel-A-While. It was opened in 1974 by one of the co-founders of A&B Pizza. It had a short but fun run closing in 1987. My girl Brenda has lots of fond memories doing the limbo at the Wheel-A-While.
