North Dakota National Guard Off To Washington (PHOTOS)
According to a press release from the North Dakota National Guard, the guard has sent about 150 soldiers to support the January 20th presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. National Guard adjutant general, Major General Al Dohrman said the unit is headquartered in Dickinson, North Dakota with a detachment in Bismarck.
Approximately 130 Soldiers from the 816th Military Police Company will join 20 previously scheduled N.D. Guard members in support of the 59th presidential inauguration.

“We are responding to a request from the D.C. National Guard seeking assistance,” said Dohrmann. “I continue to be proud of our Soldiers’ and Airmen’s ability to quickly respond when asked to serve. This short-term mobilization will not affect our ability to support the COVID-19 fight or any potential security operations within our state if called upon.”
Troubled Night Club Back Open In Bismarck
The Sahara Night Club is back open in its previous spot, in the old Sears location in the Gateway Mall 2700 State Street in Bismarck. According to it s facebook page, it appears it reopened on New Years Eve. The night club that caters to 18 to 20 year old s, has had tumultuous past.
You may remember, that the Sahara Night Club closed down this past September. The non alcoholic night club was the center of some controversy over the Summer. It had been the site of several parking lot fights, including a large one in September. It eventually led the the Sahara losing in it s lease in the Gateway Mall.
