Anoka Police K-9 Bravo shot during deadly altercation

(FOX 9) - A police dog named Bravo was shot during a deadly exchange of fire between police and a suspect near Braham, Minnesota.
According to the Anoka Police Department, K-9 Bravo suffered gunshot wound during the exchange of gunfire that followed a police pursuit that began in Blaine earlier in the afternoon.
Monday morning, police said Bravo is at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center and is resting comfortably. He has not yet undergone surgery, according to police.

ANOKA, Minn. Anoka County police say a K-9 has been released from the veterinary hospital after being shot in a confrontation between law enforcement and two suspects.
According to police, K-9 Bravo was originally expected to need surgery for his wounds after a bullet nicked his trachea and caused some soft tissue damage.
On Monday, police said Bravo is recovering without surgery. In a Facebook post Monday afternoon, they said Bravo has been released from the hospital and will recover at home with his handler. It s not certain yet, but police told KARE 11 Bravo may even be able to return to work after he recovers.

A crowd of President Donald Trumpâs supporters attended the rally to protest alleged election corruption. Many attendees were not wearing masks or social distancing, based on a video of the event posted online.
The Blaine March for Trump event was part of a two-week bus tour across several states, beginning in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Nov. 29, and concluding on Dec. 12, in Washington, DC.
The March for Trump bus tour is being spearheaded by Amy Kremer, a political activist associated with the Tea Party movement who is a vocal Trump supporter and co-founded Women for Trump and Women for America First.
