Bruce Kelley, 61, of Seneca Avenue, is seeking re-election as a Republican for Altoona City Council. Kelley was first elected in 2004 and is currently serving his fourth term.
“I’m proud of the progress we’ve made as we position Altoona for the future, Kelley said. “But there is still a lot more work to do.”
Kelley plans to build on relationships he’s established over the years with local, county and state officials. Kelley says the priorities of council should be to improve the city’s infrastructure, promoting economic development and investment in the downtown, and maintaining the city’s recreational opportunities.
