Police identify Flint woman shot multiple times, killed in home

FLINT, MI The 31-year-old Flint woman found dead in her home Thursday morning after she suffered multiple gunshot wounds has been identified by police.
Police were called to the 2900 block of Prospect Street at 2:47 a.m. Thursday, April 29, according to a Flint Police Department news release.
Officers found 31-year-old Taquitta Barber had been shot multiple times in her home, the release states. Barber was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are searching for a 31-year-old male suspect in this case, according to the news release.

Police in Flint are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman found in her home early Thursday, state officials said.
Flint police officers were called at about 3:30 a.m. to the woman s home in the 2900 block of Prospect Street near North Ballenger Highway and Flushing Road for a wellness check.
They arrived and found the victim had been shot multiple times. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene, Michigan State Police said.
Investigators have not identified any suspects at this time, they also said.

FLINT, MI A 31-year-old Flint woman was shot multiple times and killed in her home early Thursday morning, April 29, according to police.
The shooting occurred in the 2900 block of Prospect Street at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a Michigan State Police news release.
Flint Police Department officers and MSP troopers originally responded to the residence after a call was made for a well-being check, the release states.

Flint police seek 2 suspects in early morning stabbing

FLINT, MI Police are investigating the stabbing of a man early Wednesday morning in Flint.
Flint police responded about 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, to the reported stabbing in the 4000 block of North Dort Highway.
Officers arrived to find a man in his 30s suffering from multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to Hurley Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
Police believe two men in their 30s are responsible for the stabbing. The duo fled the scene before officers’ arrival and they remained at large as of 8:05 a.m., police said.

FLINT, MI A 37-year-old man is now dead as the result of a shooting overnight.
Flint police responded to the 1800 block of Chelan Street at 1:10 a.m., Sunday Feb. 14, where they found the man unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds, laying on the ground near the roadway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Michigan State Police.
