MACON, Georgia Folks in Fort Valley will be seeing some new artwork in town. The city and Flint Energy have joined forces to fund a mural on South Camellia Boulevard.
They gathered Monday to celebrate the painting of the mural, which will include some familiar sites like peaches, a Blue Bird bus, and members of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Tisa Horton, the executive director of the Austin Theater Enrichment Arts Alliance, said the mural will mean a lot to people in town.
It is with profound sadness that the family of Richard A Miller, age 72, regrets to announce his passing on Thursday April 8th from complications of cancer. Richard spent most of his life battling this awful disease, fighting fearlessly until the end.
Richard was born in Red Lake Ontario, but grew up in Thunder Bay Ontario, with his sisters and mother. Richard, also known as Rick or Ricky, was such a thoughtful, caring and giving man, always willing to stop whatever he was doing to help someone else. Richard was an amazing father, constantly worrying about his children and grandchildren, as he held them all close to his heart.
