Lancashire mum opens doll shop, cafe and pamper salon especially for kids A mum who was inspired by family chats during lockdown has opened a unique business in her home town. Desiree Khan has recently launched K Dolls Boutique, essentially a doll shop which also doubles up as a cafe and beauty salon, especially for kids. The new business in Clifton Street, Blackpool is aimed at children, young people and their families, and is open Thursday through to Monday. K Dolls Boutique will offer children a fun opportunity to find a new favourite doll in its shop, get pampered in its salon and enjoy afternoon tea in the K Dolls Café.
Lancashire mum-of-four launches non-surgical mobile beauty business with help from council A mum-of-four who relocated back to Lancashire from Scotland, has launched a new non-surgical and non-invasive facial beauty business with the help of her local council. Teresa Kavanagh has described the last months as a strange board game of Snakes and Ladders as she went from a change in her personal relationship to a relocation from Scotland back to Lancashire, which provided a fresh start for her and her family. The mother of four, who lives in Blackpool said: “As for so many people the last year and more has been a whirlwind and so challenging but we need to look forward and support each other so I decided to set up my own business.”
