I’ve written before about what a special feeling it is when a customer is so pleased with our service that they get in touch to say thanks. We try to make every customer happy, of course, and we certainly don’t expect an email, letter or message for every hire; we are “just doing our job”. Payment and a thank you will do just fine. However when someone does take the time and effort to get in touch to say thank you, going the extra mile in recognition for us doing the same, it means the world. Another belter of a thank you note came in last week – but I can’t take the credit for this one, all the good work is down to my fellow driver, Andrew Watson.
