TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Lee County Constable Phil Gann believes a stray bullet ricocheted off the pavement and a piece struck his leg during the weekend while serving legal papers.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, the incident happened Saturday at the Hilldale Apartments on Monument Drive.
Gann told investigators he heard gunshots and felt something hit his leg.
