The housebuilder has bought a 10-acre site at Marton Moss, part of the 422-home Redwood Point development in the Blackpool suburbs, and wants to acquire additional land across the North West.
The purchase of the site near Lytham from developer Kensington Developments is Elan Homes’ first site acquisition in Lancashire, it said. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The Cheshire-based housebuilder has bought the plot to develop the second phase – comprising 86 homes and known as Redwood Gardens – of the Redwood Point development whose first phase of 137 homes is completed and sold.
Under Elan’s plans, Redwood Gardens will a choice of three- and four-bedroom homes ranging from 972 sq ft to 1,953 sq ft in size. The units will initially be marketed for sale off-plan, with a show home scheduled to open this autumn.
