Wichita Falls man charged in April shooting at Lubbock home
A 54-year-old Wichita Falls man was indicted this week in connection with an April shooting that injured a woman in her home in Lubbock.
Bryan Hillis is charged with counts of aggravated assault by causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by threat. Both offenses are second-degree felonies that carry a punishment of two to 20 years in prison.
His charge stems from an April 10 shooting at a residence in the 5700 block of 76th Street.
Responding police officers encountered Hillis, his girlfriend and two other people a man and a woman at the home, according to a Lubbock police report.
