Aaron Boone provided an update on O’Day’s hamstring injury before Sunday’s game against the Red Sox, saying that “It’s likely his season is over, but we’ll have some more information on that when it’s ready to give out.” O’Day reportedly crumpled to the ground during a pregame workout on July 6th and hasn’t pitched since then.
