Festival Foods Turkey Trot hits milestone $3.28 million raised

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WKBT) The Festival Foods Turkey Trot has raised $3.28 million for charity since it began in 2008, with $360,000 coming in this year’s virtual event when 20,000 participants ran on their own.
Organizers of the 13th annual Festival Foods Turkey Trot hoped to hit the milestone $3 million raised, but were surprised by how much it was surpassed.
“We are thrilled that so many people came out to support the event and that our sponsors continued their contributions as well,” said Brian Stenzel, senior director of community involvement for Festival Foods. “Our theme was #KeepTheTraditionAlive,and our participants and sponsors definitely did just that.”
