Penguin Random House and Netflix have cut a deal for the rights to Brian Jacques Redwall book series.
Netflix is adapting a classic series of books into movies and TV shows. The streaming service has landed the rights to Brian Jacques
Redwall book series. They will be reimagined on screen following a rights deal between Penguin Random House Children s UK and Netflix. This marks the first time that the rights to the entire series of books have been held by one company.
Patrick McHale will bring Brian Jacques’ classic fantasy series to life as both an animated film and a TV event series, focusing on the Martin the Warrior character. Here are the first details on the animator’s new project, which doesn’t seem to be interfering with his work on Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.
