2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship Resumes After Severe Weather Delays
The first round of the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship resumes on Friday morning after being cut short on Thursday because of severe weather.
The first round was suspended around 4 p.m. on Thursday due to severe weather that moved into the area, but organizers are hopeful Friday s event will be smooth sailing.
Tournament Director Bryan Karns said that organizers had planned for a severe weather scenario and expect to get back on schedule quickly.
Tournament organizers say the first rounds will pick back up starting at 7:15 a.m. on Friday.
Some changes have been made to the parking situation. Previously spectators were told to get dropped off or use a ride share service, but starting Friday, anyone who plans on coming out can park at the Mabee Center and ride a shuttle to the course.
