The Hollywood Reporter has news on Paramount+ planning to expand their original programming line-up in a big way starting in 2022. ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish didn’t expand upon details regarding the roster of titles that will be part of this initiative, but he did say, “It will be a range of different kinds of movies” including blockbusters and movies made specifically for Paramount+ under the Paramount Players banner. There will also be titles coming from the Nickelodeon and Awesomeness banners.
Based on that statement, I’m wondering if Paramount will count major theatrical releases that also head to Paramount+ among the titles that will help them meet their goal of releasing one original movie each week. Previously, we heard that movies like

Kenny Anderson was the leader of the famed “Lethal Weapon 3” team with Scott and Brian Oliver and is still GT’s all-time assists leader. These are just a few players the ACC Digital network considered in the “G.O.A.T.” conversation for the Yellow Jackets. Amazon drops trailer of Chris Pratt starrer ‘Tomorrow War’

Washington: The trailer of Hollywood star Chris Pratt’s upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘The Tomorrow War’ was unveiled by Amazon on Wednesday. The movie picks up after time travelers come to the present day and warn of a battle in which humanity loses all to alien species.
As per Variety, the film, which is slated for release on July 2, stars Chris as Dan Forester, a high school teacher who is recruited by a group of time travelers to fight a war in the future.

The movie is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, language, and some suggestive references. Sounds good to us.
The film features time travelers returning to the present day to tell us that in the future they’re losing a war against deadly aliens. The time travelers recruit soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future to join the fight.
