The Frameless Hardware Co. acquired substantially all of the assets of Columbia Commercial Building Products from Consolidated Glass Holdings. The Rockwall, Texas-based company offers a complete line of architectural aluminum systems including entrances, storefronts, windows and curtain walls.

The Frameless Hardware Co. enlisted the product knowledge and project management expertise of Jesse Dorado as brand manager, architectural hardware. Doubling down on their brand value proposition of “Experience and Innovation,” the company welcomes the 28-year glass and hardware specialist to oversee technical support, specification consult and estimating services for their Architectural Hardware division. The growing brand comprises all-glass entrances and storefronts, door controls and hardware, and access control systems.
Previously, Dorado served as vice president of sales at Southern California-based Grand View Glass & Metal, and most recently as architectural hardware access control team leader for C.R. Laurence. In his new role, he’ll support and grow FHC’s offerings of door rails, panic devices, sidelites, headers, handles, closers pivots and sliding door systems.

The Frameless Hardware Co. appointed Danny Donahue as brand manager for Frameless Shower Hardware. In his new role, Donahue will leverage his field experience and vast product knowledge to promote, manage and grow FHC’s frameless shower hardware brand, bringing the company’s best of breed product innovations to market.
As an integral part of the company’s newly formed business development team, Donahue is immediately tasked with leading sales and technical support to glaziers, fabricators and architects. Additionally, he will strategize the development and promotion of multiple product launches slotted for 2021.
