2 dead, four injured in blast at Bhiwandi factory

Two labourers died and four others were injured in a blast that occurred within an iron works facility in Bhiwandi. The police said that a
nitrogen gas cylinder used in the
iron cutting process exploded at JE Mechanicals in Palpada on Wednesday evening.
Officials said the facility used to supply iron materials.
The deceased have been identified as 24-year-old Prem Ananta Bhoir and 21-year-old Akshay Ashok Gautam. Three of the injured have been identified as Munir Mohammed Hussain Momin, Bajrang Shukla and Alpesh Bhoir. They are being treated at the Lotus and Jupiter hospitals in Thane.
