A Lanarkshire dog owner has been left barking mad after a dog grooming business closed its doors without warning - and left her out of pocket.
A GOSPORT pensioner has appeared before court for dumping waste outside some Hampshire homes. Keneth Babbington, 73, dumped controlled waste of an unknown nature at the junction of Braemar Road outside his neighbours homes - numbers 46 and 48 - on August 27, 2019. Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates Court, he pleaded guilty to depositing controlled waste on land without the authority of a current environmental permit issued under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Babbington, of Braemar Road, Bridgemary, was fined £160 and ordered to pay compensation of £50. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £100.
