Josh Clarke, who admitted to being nervous before the show started, said he was looking forward to the opportunity to provide the fireworks display, and hoped everyone enjoys it, saying: We are looking forward to making it bigger and better as the years go by.

IVY JACOBS PHOTO - The Van-Dells celebrating their return to entertaining audiences of all ages with their unique blend of comedy, choreography, and tight harmonies Thursday evening at Forest Park. The Van-Dells has been called The 3 Stooges set to music, and Stacy P. Todd, better known as Duke, Steve Moose Ricks, the loveable, educationally challenged jock, and the comedian and nerd of the group Mark Barnett were happy to be back. (Barnett performed in spite of a sprained ankle.)
The Van-Dells took the stage Thursday evening during Brazil Rotary Club s 4th of July event. but one of them performed with an injury. Mark Barnett, the comedian and the nerd of the group, sprained his ankle a couple of days before the performance. However, that didn t stop him from giving the Duke and Moose a hard time throughout the comedy portion of the show. Barnett s goal is to make Duke and the crowd smile.
Students help clean up the city while raising money for their band
Many extracurricular activities in schools lost funding last year. Now, community members are stepping up in order to help with fundraising events. The Northview High School Band spent the morning cleaning up trash in Clay County.
