That is to promote his name up the list of 44 hockey players chosen for a week-long national training camp at the Gold Coast starting on Sunday. Being one of the newcomers, the Ipswich sharpshooter has a chance to show what he can do with a goal of representing Australia at the FIH 2021 Junior Hockey World Cup scheduled for later this year. Profke, who turns 20 in August, is realistic about his prospects. He understands other players vying for national team spots have been in contention for longer.

Her impressive time management skills will be tested even further in three competitions and as a Queensland head coach this season. Rogers has mentored the Hancocks men and captained the Hancocks women in recent seasons along with her Brisbane competition (Ascot) and other representative commitments. She s added three more roles to her incredible list. Rogers is going to coach the Hancocks women as well as the men in the Ipswich competition starting on Friday night. The Hancocks men open the new season against Wests in a 7pm encounter at the Ipswich Hockey Complex.

The skilful Ipswich hockey player has been named in the Australian indoor squad preparing for the next World Cup in Europe. The exact time and location are yet to be confirmed after next year s scheduled Indoor Hockey World Cup was postponed. For Hockey Queensland s Indoor Female Player of the Year, that means keeping fit and focused in the months ahead. However, after being recognised at state and national level this year, Jackat said keeping motivated wouldn t be an issue.
