About 10.20am on Sunday, March 7, a 14-year-old girl was sitting on a bench on Brisbane Street, Murwillumbah, when she was approached by an man unknown to her. Police will allege the man spoke to her and made several sexual propositions, before she walked away. In a second incident, police were called to a shopping centre on the corner of Brisbane and Wollumbin streets, Murwillumbah, after reports two children were approached by an unknown man about 11.30am. Police have ben told two girls - aged 13 and 14 - were approached and spoken to by the man in a supermarket.
