Gardaí in Kilkenny have seized a significant amount of cannabis following a search of a property yesterday.
The Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house in Kilkenny City under warrant.
Over €20,000 worth of cannabis was seized along with paraphernalia consistent with the sale and supply of drugs.
Investigations are ongoing.

A woman in her 30s has been arrested after herbal cannabis worth €72,000 was seized in Dublin.
Gardai and Revenue discovered the drugs while executing a search warrant in Kilmore yesterday.
Officers arrested a 37 year old woman, who was taken to Ballymun Garda Station for questioning.
She has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A 37 year old woman was arrested at the scene and she was detained at Ballymun Garda Station.
She has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.

The drugs and cash were recovered after a search of several properties in the Longford town area on Thursday
A substantial amount of drugs and cash worth over €40,000 have been seized by Longford Gardaí following a search in the town yesterday.
Members of the Roscommon/Longford Division with assistance from the Divisional Drugs Unit carried out the searches at a number of houses in Longford town yesterday morning.
€33,000 of suspected cocaine and €6,000 of suspected cannabis herb was recovered along with more than €1,000 in cash.

While Gardaí made no arrests, investigations are continuing and a definite line of inquiry is being followed.
